Hooray! The just-released Buckets Beta v0.79.0 now includes some tools for managing payees.

For those that want to move all their transaction memos to the payee field, there’s a migration tool found in Tools > Payees. Be warned—it can take a long time to run.

And if you want to normalize all the different spellings and variations of your payees, there’s also a Mass Update tool and a Payee Merge tool (found in the same place). Check out the transactions docs for details.

Also, this release fixes the annoying problem where long memos and payees were truncated. They now show completely. Thank you to all the beta testers for the feedback!
